The Feathered Hook is a fly fishing shop, guide service, and bed and breakfast for world-class wild brown trout and brookie streams: Penns, Elk, Pine, Big Fishing, and Spring Creek.

ABOUT THE FEATHERED HOOK
Since 1989, the philosophy of The Feathered Hook has been simple: to help every person who comes to fly fish central Pennsylvania’s wild trout streams achieve their goals, catch more fish, and enjoy themselves all the more. Our Fly Shop and Bed & Breakfast are located on the banks of Penns Creek, uniquely situated and equipped. The Feathered Hook is centrally located to target brown trout and brookies on the world-class limestone streams of Pennsylvania, including Penns Creek, Elk Creek, Pine Creek, Big Fishing Creek, and Spring Creek.

GUIDE SERVICE
The Feathered Hook is proud to offer a world-class guide service providing a positive and personal experience day in and day out on the water. Our guides are well traveled, Pennsylvania natives who know our local waters and wild trout like the back of their hands. Whether you want to learn a new technique, explore new water, introduce a friend to the sport, or just go catch fish you are in good hands with us. From floating lines and indicators, to modern euro nymphing tactics, advanced nymphing techniques, properly presenting dry flies, pulling streamers, or swinging wet flies our guides have you covered. We will create a tailored, memorable experience exploring our Blue Ribbon trout streams for anglers of all levels.

FLY SHOP
Open every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., The Feathered Hook Fly Shop offers a wide selection of locally-tied flies, bamboo and graphite rods, breathable waders, wading boots, fly fishing clothes, experienced guide service and a knowledgeable staff to try and answer your questions. We hope to have everything you might need for your time in Central PA and quite a bit more. The store has a large selection of flies tied by our twenty six local tiers. We carry a large selection of leaders and tippets as well as floatants and every other gizmo we can think to order.

BED AND BREAKFAST
Located on Penns Creek and only a quick walk to Elk and Pine Creeks, The Feathered Hook Bed & Breakfast has been serving the fly fishing community since 1989. Every time you step through the door, our goal is to make you feel like you are coming home. Breakfast is hot and hearty, and you have full access to the kitchen, dining, and lounge areas during the day and evenings, as well as a fly-tying area and an extensive fly-fishing library. The inn and the fly shop are connected, offering you convenient access to all your fly fishing needs.
