Tait Farm is a family-owned farm located seven miles east of State College. It is a year-round shopping destination showcasing the seasons in beautiful central Pennsylvania. The Harvest Shop is the flagship store for our nationally recognized specialty food company, Tait Farm Foods. Founded in 1987, Tait Farm Foods makes more than 65 all-natural products including a full line of fruit shrubs, fruit spreads, savory condiments, vinaigrettes, dessert sauces, baking mixes, and more. Products are shipped to retail locations and restaurants in all lower 48 states and Hawaii. The Harvest Shop sells farm-grown produce 7 days a week. The work of many Pennsylvania artisans is featured in the shop, as well as home accents for every season. The constantly changing inventory makes it a new experience with each visit. The Tait Farm seasonal greenhouse is an ideal stop for the cottage and kitchen gardener. We grow and sell our own organic herb, vegetable and flower seedlings, many annuals, and perennials. Additionally, Tait Farm has the most extensive native plant offerings in the region.
