Axemann Brewery is the home of Blue Stripe beer, perfected as a home brew over the past six years in the Stahl barn milk house by Rod Stahl and Stephen Hirlinger. The brewing operation has continued to evolve, with several long standing varieties including an Oktoberfest and a stout. Demand and enthusiasm for the beer has grown as well, influencing Rod's decision to make the brewery official.
A two-year search finally ended with the identification of the former Cerro Metal Factory in Titan Energy Park as the perfect spot for the new brewery. Plans are in place for a 20,000 square foot production brewery and taproom on Axemann Road in Bellefonte.
